How to use the Coaching App

The coach app is a great resource to coach clients on the go, track their weight, their body progress, assign workouts, or build their own workouts. This article will help you get an overview of the 4 main areas of the app:

  • Clients
  • Schedule
  • Library
  • Account  

Clients

All the clients that you’ve marked in your system as coachable by you. You might only see a shortlist of clients which can be remedied by going into the System Settings of your Portal, then click on Module Settings under Coach, and enable “All coaches can coach all clients” or by assigning yourself as the coach for the client you wish to coach.

After clicking on the client, you will find yourself on the Plan page. This is the main page you will use for each client. Next to plan, you will also find the Performance, Notes, Coaching, and Account tabs which all provide you with an overview of their respective topics.

At the bottom of the Plan page, you’ll notice a Plus sign. Clicking this will allow you to plan a workout, log an activity, track progress, or join a challenge.

  • Plan a workout.

Select a workout to find out more about it and schedule it by clicking on “Add to today” or the calendar icon to schedule it for a set period. When scheduling, you can select the start date, duration in weeks, and the days of the week on which the workout is to be completed. Click on “Plan this workout” to assign it to the client.

  • Log Activity.

If your client did some extra work you want to track, find, and add it with Log Activity.

  • Track Progress.

This is the window you will use to track and update the weight and measurement goals of your client. 

  • Join Challenge.

Add your client to the challenges that your club offers and track them on the Plan page.

Schedule.

The Schedule page provides you with a quick overview of your Club’s schedule. You can browse through different schedules by selecting the drop-down menu next to the schedule name. Click the plus sign or on the schedule itself to plan a new event.

Library.

The Library contains coaching content you can assign to your clients. They will be able to view the assigned content in the fitness app. For ease of access, workouts that you have created will be listed first when you click on “show all.”

Account.

The Account page contains all the information about your account, Club and Club App information as well as the various Devices and Connections. Click the gear in the top right to edit your account or settings, here you can also sync the App manually.
